Mariana De la Vega is a Mexican photographer born in Mexico City in 1988. From a young age she experimented with whatever cameras she could find, drawn above all to nature and animals as her greatest source of inspiration. Her aesthetic curiosity led her to study Graphic Design, where she encountered photography in its more formal sense — a language that came into focus during her first travels abroad.
After completing a second degree in Psychology, she travelled alone through Asia, where she came to know art as a therapeutic and meditative practice. Beyond photography, Mariana finds balance in knitting, yoga, deep conversation, caring for her pets and plants, puzzles, and travelling as often as she can.
